CMU resources for international students You have an abundance of resources available to you as an international student at CMU. The CMU Office of International Affairs offers services and coordinates activities for international students that will help you adjust to life at CMU.
English Language Institute The English Language Institute offers English instruction to students whose native language is not English or who have scored below 79 (IT) on the TOEFL (213 on the computer-based TOEFL).
Bridge Program International students who meet all undergraduate admission requirements except for English language proficiency are eligible to apply for the Bridge Program. This program helps students develop their English language skills before they can register for classes.
Paying for your CMU education The annual cost for undergraduate tuition (24 credits), room, board and other living expenses is approximately $30,000. The annual cost for graduate tuition (18 credits), room, board and other living expenses is approximately $26,000.
