Welcome to the 2014 Leadership Safari Staff Selection Process!
We are thrilled that you are interested in being a part of Leadership Safari! Please take a minute to read the position descriptions in order to understand what it entails. Make sure you apply for the appropriate staff position as it could prevent you from moving on further in the process if you don't. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at email@example.com.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are interested in multiple positions such as Guide, C-Team, and Team Runner, please do NOT fill out all three applications. Fill out the application that you are most interested in. Indicate on your application that you would also be interested in other positions.

Staff Assistants are the only paid positions on the Leadership Safari staff. These are year around positions which are in charge of helping to select and train the staff and coordinate the conference logistics. To be eligible, a person must have served on staff for at least one year in the role of a Guide.
Core staff is essentially comprised of expert staff members who are responsible for Safari Guides. Additional responsibilities include program logistics and mentoring. To be eligible as a Core Guide, a person must be moving into their third year on staff. The staff member can have served in a combination of any staff position.
Formally known as Senior Guides, these are staff members who are moving into their third year on staff but are not serving as a Core Guide. Ranger Guides have additional responsibilities and serve as mentors. A third year staff member does not have to apply to be a Ranger Guide if they do not want the extra responsibility. Instead, they should apply for returning guide status. A person who has served as a member of C-Team for one year and as a Guide for one year is eligible to be a Ranger Guide. PLEASE NOTE: If you have taken time off from being on staff, but are applying to come back and qualify to be a ranger guide, you will need to contact us PRIOR to filling out an application. You will not likely have permissions set up in our system to do so. It's imperative that you contact us so that you fill out the correct application. Otherwise, your application will not be reviewed.
Senior staff members are considered the veterans of the Safari Staff. C-Team members, Team Runner members, Ranger Guides, and Core Staff will all be considered Senior Staff once they reach their third year on staff. This is not a position that is applied for, it's just a category we utilize.

A student whom is also eligible to be a Ranger Guide but does not want the extra responsibility of being a Ranger Guide can also apply to be a Returning Guide. Must have been a guide previously, though not in sequential years. C-Team members are our master facilitators that don't have a group of participants. They are in charge of our challenge course, they work with core groups to help individual teams and assist with team building initiatives.
Team Runner members are the backbone of Leadership Safari. They are in charge of seating, set creation, room set up and production as well as speaker hospitality, and overall conference logistics.
