Program Description

Why try to keep up with the next big trend in fashion when you can be the one who shapes it? With our fashion design minor, you will create garments that will help inspire new looks in fashion while tailoring your skills for a number of careers in the fashion industry that require knowledge in apparel design and construction, flat pattern textiles and draping. You also can put your designs to the test at Threads, CMU’s student-led fashion show.
