It’s hard to know what the next few months will look like. We’re here to help. You can have no out-of-pocket expenses for fall housing and tuition payments until Nov. 1. Admitted students may defer your $175 enrollment reservation deposit.

We hope to ease your mind – and your financial burden – by significantly expanding our need-based aid to more students and restructuring our merit-based scholarships. These awards have been restructured and are now based on a percentage of tuition. That means your merit scholarship grows in value if tuition increases.

Incoming freshmen who have applied to CMU are automatically considered for these awards. Submit a complete application including all supporting materials by Dec. 1 for priority consideration.
All transfer scholarships are awarded based on information provided on your application for admission, including your college GPA and number of credits earned. The Phi Theta Kappa Award requires proof of membership. These scholarships award up to $19,500 over three years. No additional application is required. Awards can be renewed up to three years.
