At CMU, we believe a college education should be accessible to all. It’s why we’ve increased our scholarships and financial aid by $20.7 million since 2010.
We support students with more than $61 million in university funding annually and distribute more than $300 million in private and federal financial awards and grants.
About 80 percent of CMU students receive financial assistance each year based on achievement, need and work study opportunities.
Central Michigan University rewards academic achievement. Students who enter from high schools or community colleges with strong GPAs and ACT scores are likely to qualify for automatic financial awards.
Additionally, many high-achieving high school and community college students are eligible to join CMU’s
Honors Program, with extensive scholarships and programming that allow you to “aim higher and achieve more … meaningfully.”
Whatever your situation, we help students and families through the financial aid process. Full details about scholarships, loans, federal applications and so much more await you at the
